Petlikar, Ishwar. Shri Swaminarayan ane Adhyatan Ishwar Motibhai Patel (9 May - 22 November ), better known by his pen name Ishwar Petlikar, was an Indian Gujarati language author and journalist. Born and educated in villages of Gujarat, he taught in schools of villages before settling in Ahmedabad.
Petlikar wrote his biography Ishwar Petlikar was a noted author and journalist associated with Gujarati literature. He has also worked as a teacher at various schools. His works are deeply influenced by the rural culture of Gujarat and tells about social issues, culture and reforms.
